Mobile data collection and control station "MEP 4200"

The mobile data collection and control station "MEP 4200" performs modern requirements of parcel services as well as forwarding- and production areas. By the means of the mobile data collection and control station "MEP 4200", being specifically designed for logistical applications, industrial processes may be arranged more flexible, efficient and save. A direct handling (data capture, data control as well as labelling and assignment of packets, pallets, products etc.) is possible by means of an "online-connection" of the "MEP 4200" by radio (e.g. 2,4 GHz) to the superordinate host-system. The handling of processes in trans-shipment and industrial companies may be effected independantly of place and network. The mobile data collection and control station "MEP 4200" is set up modularly and consists of an electrically powered unit, battery- and current unit and an industrial pc with a printing station. It may optionally be equipped with a GPS-position reporting system as well as a CCD-camera system.

Thermo- and thermo-transfer printers are used for establishing labels. The labels may be established either separately or continuously. They may be given without or with silicon carrier.

Communication

For the transmission of data and pictures, efficient radio transfer modules for the range of 2,4 GHz are being used.
 

Data Feed

For a fast and efficient data feed, the mobile data collection and control station "MEP 4200" is equipped with a special keyboard or "fast" data feed.

Equipments

Reading equipment (scanners) for the registration of barcodes and PDF codes may optionally be plugged in the mobile data collection and control station "MEP 4200".
 

Power Supply
Batteries

The mobile data collection and control station "MEP 4200" is standardly equipped with batteries being gastight and free of servicing. By means of a special loading switch, a parallel use on the network as well as a self-sufficient use without network is always guaranteed. The system also keeps busy during the automatical switch over within the two operating systems (battery / network).
 

Mobility

The system "MEP 4200" is fit with an electrically powered unit. The direction, speed and steering are driven manually. Due to a special construction, a dynamical and agil use of the mobile data collection and control station "MEP 4200" is even suitable in cramped areas with a lack of place.
